Evolution of Time Keeping Devices is a book based the history of time keeping devices to current smart watches using die cuts and foiling. This book consist of four chapters highlighting important devices of what we used in history. ​

THE PROCESS
I divided the book into chapters by: Natural Indicators as Clock, Early Times Timekeeping Devices, Mechanized Timekeeping Devices and Electronic Timekeeping Devices. I also wanted to included the history of smart watches which I made little booklet that can go inside of the book pocket. I wanted to create a dynamic chapter breakers that does not disturb the flow of reading with gold foil on vellum paper. I was able to create a dynamic but simple layout using large images and one column grid that is easy to read with the serif typeface.
